For the next several outfits to come you're going to see all the new stuff I brought back from my travels. The new item in this one is the belt, which was a gift from my mom. For the last few years we've exchanged our Christmas gifts in January or February, since I've generally been in Mexico over the holidays. I didn't travel this year but instead
stayed in San Francisco and got married, so once again we had our belated Christmas celebration. This little beaded belt was among my gifts.
I mirrored the mixed metal look of the belt with the necklaces; one is silver and one is layered brass and pearls.

Cardigan: Anthropologie
Jeans: Diesel
Boots: Bronx

The necklace is just lovely, and I'm a big fan of the ruffle-top cardigan! Can't wait to see your other booty! (Heehee...booty...)
I simply adore all the ruffles, they add so much life and movement to the outfit. The belt was a great gift! It looks perfect with your outfit =)
I can't get enough of that cardigan on you! The color, the ruffles, the way you belt it... oh my! Love it to pieces, and love that you go away for the holidays. Maybe Nic and I will do that next year ;)
Gorgeous! Have you lost weight? You look super lean in this pic.
Anonymous: Nope, I don't think so. It must be the black pants and the pose. ;-)

I love this outfit so much! I always steer myself away from ruffles because they are just too much for me but they look amazing on you. Plus, those boots are to die for!
I also love this outfit! The ruffles and of course the color is great. I'll have to try doubling up my necklace, I like what you did by layering with other necklaces, bravo!
You always have the coolest boots! Where do you find your best deals on them?
I adore the belts and necklaces. What an amazing present. And I do so love that cardigan too.
Scary Closet: I usually find boots and shoes by browsing through sites like Zappos and Endless, and then before I purchase I'll do a Google search and see if the same pair comes up cheaper anywhere else. I also try to go with stores where I can get a Fat Wallet rebate (eBates is another such site that offers cash back on purchases). Another thing I'll do is to mark certain pairs as favorites and go back and check on them from time to time; sometimes the price will come down if I'm patient, and sometimes I find that when I go back and look at them, the shoes aren't exactly what I want anyway.
