I had a lot of fun with the proportions in this outfit. With the harness fitted up high on my ribcage and the long expanse of dress pattern as a backdrop, my torso was elongated. This combination had the potential to make my legs look shorter, but adding the platform heels and the near-matching tights elongated my legs and brought everything back into balance. This outfit was remarkably comfortable, since there was nothing constricting my waist. Because of the softness of the leather and the adjustable laces in the back, the harness can flex as I breathe and yet still add structure and shape to an outfit. I love how it makes this simple floral dress look like a dirndl.

the proportions are spot on! this is why I dream of one day owning a similar harness... it totally transforms the dress, and gives the girly print a little edginess.
My word woman, your legs look miles long. I really don't see how that harness elongated your waist. I mean, I know it must feel that way because you're wearing it on your ribs, but when I look at these pics it looks like the bottom buckle is your waistband, making your waist look remarkably short. Hence the miles long legs!

Drindl! I was wondering what was so familiar and classic about this dress and harness combination. I doubt there are many things that could make your lovely long legs look short. I like the red with the brown accessories, and the dress looks very comfortable as well.
