I actually wore this outfit before Halloween, and just overlooked it in my photo album until now. You can tell it's a bit older because more recently I've been styling my hair differently; I've been wearing it with the bangs and front pieces slicked down, ever since I tried it with my Twiggy costume and really liked the look. Anyway, here's this one; it's quite a simple outfit for me, just a top
Top, skirt: Noa Noa
Boots: All Black

I know you may consider this a "simple" look---but it is so pretty! Some days we need a day off from trying, but that skirt is just gorgeous and completely makes up for taking a break.

Audi, I love your tulle skirts and am hoping to make a few someday. The only problem I have is trying to decide what color. I was thinking black would be most versatile, but I would like one in a fun color too. How do you decide what colors?
I love the color of that skirt!
I like how for you this is simple where for others it is very dressed up. :-)
Great skirt!
That is very pretty, and yes, more conservative for you. But good to change things up once in a while, right?
I like your hair both ways.
Alison: Well, I've gone with what was available at the time mostly, but also I've tried to strategize and have a variety of warm and cool colors, and neutrals. So I have my warms -- pale pink and purple; my cools -- peacock and pale blue, and my neutrals -- off white and gray. I can't think of a single outfit where I've wished I had another color. If you're going to wear tulle, you might as well go for it and make it stand out by choosing something fun.
i love this skirt so much that it hurts.
