Worthy Addition

You guys, check it out -- it got so warm that I went to work with bare legs AND arms! Unbelievable! It only lasted a handful of days, but as you can see I made the most of it, busting out my most festive dress and playing up the nakedness of my legs by wearing nude heels. And no, it's not just the camera flash -- my legs really are that white.

I've been looking for the perfect pair of nude pumps for awhile now, but I'm damn picky when it comes to items like that. I knew I wanted something simple, with nice clean lines and little or no embellishment, but I also wanted to steer well away from the realm of boring or staid. And those qualities combined in a nude pump is a tall order, as I found out.

After sorting through what seemed like an infinitely large number of listings online, I finally found the perfect pair of patent leather, peep toe pumps by Bettye Muller. As luck would have it, they were also marked down 60%. Just look at that fantastic heel, and the graceful lines! To me they're the ideal solution -- they give me a nice long, uninterrupted leg line, while still looking funky and unique. A worthy addition to my collection, to be sure.

What a cheerful spring outfit! I think the bright colors really show off your tattoos in such a beautiful way.

Like everything else, you rock brights like a pro. Love the short sleeve bolero... great color on top of the others. And the heels are exquisite... and so very you! gorgeous all around.

(and I gotta jump on the bandwagon... the colors of the outfit and your tattoos are a match made in heaven)

I adore this look. I was heading through Bloglovin and this one made me come back, look again and then click through and comment. So bright, so colourful, so gorgeous.

Those heels really highlight what a fabulous pair of calves you have! I really like the nude heel with all the color. It's inspiring: I've never own a nude pair of shoes, but I can now see how they'd 'step in' when it might be difficult to otherwise match a shoe to a multicolor outfit. I'm always learning from you! (I've yet to put much of these lessons into practice, alas, except in the fantasy closet of my mind.)

Hey, your legs are pale enough they might be mistaken for a Canadian's haha... I'm actually EVEN PALER, eep!

That dress is amazing though! I love the bright colours so much.

Those pumps are divine! That heel is fantastic, and the color perfect with your skin tone!

At risk of sounding like a total creeper: I think you have great legs! Mine look stubbly even 5 minutes after shaving so I'm pretty jealous of your skin tone. Love this color scheme too.

Trust me, my legs are even more pale! I LOVE those nude pumps!! I bought a pair from Target and they're too dark on me, it's hard to find a good nude! They're lovely on you =)
