Teal and Yellow

I've worn this dress several times before, but when I put it on for this outfit it suddenly felt too short to me. A simple solution was to put a skirt underneath it, and although I had to keep adjusting the elastic-waisted skirt throughout the day to keep it from riding up, I liked the effect of the fluffy tulle peeking out from under the mod shift dress. I also wore the matching jacket when I was outside.

I wish I knew the designer of this necklace, because I'd love to find more of their stuff. Sadly, I got it at a shop on Haight Street which has long since closed, so I fear I'll never know.

Dress: Vintage
Cardigan: Anthropologie
Skirt: Forever 21
Tights: MP
Boots: Bronx

I could be wrong, but that necklace looks like Ayala Bar, a fairly well-established Israeli artist.

I love that sweater! The colour is awesome.

The necklace looks a bit like Ayala Bar, but the Deco-styling is not much like any of their recent collections. Hmm. A mystery.

I love that ruffly teal sweater.

I'm a big fan of that cardigan. The ruffles!

Funny how some days things feel shorter than last time you wore them. How does that happen? Love the tulle under your dress. The perfect save.

Big fan of the teal + yellow.

I love the lemon yellow and bright turquoise/teal of this outfit, and the ruffled cardigan is enviable to say the least. I'm going to have to try your yellow and grey combination - it looks terrific on you!

That necklace looks like it could be Michel Golan or Liz Palacios.

Goregous sweater, too!

'So gorgeous all 'round. I'm in awe of your excellent stylings. Plus, all that bright colour next to face and hair looks great.

Yes, Liz Palacios, 1928, or La Vie Parisienne, perhaps, for the necklace. I love those colors on you so much!!!

BTW here's a link for LVP jewelry--the designer is Catherine Popesco. Note the dragonfly pin!

Loves it. Only decent reflection on nerd chic fashion by a nerd herself. Every other Google discovery was a patronizing help page for people who were nerds such as ("remember to wash and use antiperspirant"). Anyway you look amazing. I am a nerd and scientist too! Many of my friends have awesome colourful pallets and kinky appetites too!
