From the Archives

Hmm, I feel like I've pretty much done this outfit before... Oh yes, there it is -- right in my header. Same dress, same skirt layered underneath. But hey, I changed up the cardigan and the shoes, and eliminated the big wide belt. All in all it was a pretty simple rework of an older outfit. This is one of the reasons I love tracking what I wear through the blog; when I'm strapped for ideas I can just pull out an oldie but a goodie from the archives.

This outfit is slightly more summery than the other version -- those are actually OTK socks and not tights.

Cardigan: Solemio
Dress: Red Dress Shoppe
Skirt: ?
Shoes: Tsubo

LOVE the orange cardigan with this! It really looks amazing with the grey.

I also like to browse back through my archives and see how I've worn an item. I'm often surprised at my creativity.

I think the cardigan gives it a totally different look!

great orange, i too love it against the grey.

and wearing a small vest/jacket/cardi over a less defined dress or skirt is a great way to add definition and more comfy than a belt, i find. you can also bring the 'waist' up a lot higher than will usually work with a belt.

layering the cardi on top completely transforms the look! and, oooh, did someone get a haircut? I love it!

Lol that it’s in the header. That polka dot dress is one of my favorites.
