Asymmetrical

Here's another clothing item that's on its way out: this skirt. It has been well-loved in its time, but it now looks tired and a bit ragged, and in addition it has started to sag on one side and become asymmetrical (not in a good way either). Into the bin it goes, freeing up precious inches of closet real estate.

Sweater: Free People
Cardigan: La Redoute
Belt: came with a Noa Noa sweater
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: Fly London

Funny how we often have to WEAR an item to confirm its done-ness.

My outfit today also has a toss out item, and I blogged about that - lol. :-)

I think I saw this skirt in your 2nd closet post, and wondered about how you hadn't worn it in a years worth of posts. Now I know! An item gone is more room for the new!

If you don't mind me bothering you, how is Fly London sized?? Do they not have half sizes? I like a pair but don't know if I should order the 39 or 40. I wear an 8 1/2 US.
Thanks!! BTW, love your style. You inspire me!!!

Anna: I wear an 8.5 to 9, and I've found that the Fly Londons are pretty true to size -- the size 39 is equivalent to a US 8.5, and the 40 is a US size 9. With Fly Londons I order boots or other heeled shoes in the size 39 and flats in the 40, since flats always seem to pinch my toes.
